LUCA CUMANI seeks to provide a top class service to all his owners to whom he is easily accessible. The team at Bedford House aim to make ownership with Luca as enjoyable and as memorable as possible, while always welcoming enquiries from prospective new clients. All of our owners benefit from regular updates on their horses in training. This includes video footage of their horses at daily exercise or on work mornings and notifications of all entries and declarations. We also welcome owners to visit Bedford House and see their horses out at exercise. This gives owners the full experience of working racing yard and the opportunity meet our wonderful team of staff and jockeys Jamie Spencer and Luke Morris who are a big part of our team on work mornings.
There are different options available with regards to ownership and we are always on hand to guide and advise potential clients to find the most suitable way of becoming involved in the sport.
Sole Ownership allows a registered owner to get the most out of an involvement with a horse in training. Whether it is at the sales, at home on the gallops or at the racetrack, a sole owner has the chance to play a key part in the decision making process.
Racing Partnerships offers the opportunity for two or more registered owners to get together and derive a buzz from a shared venture. This means that each individual owner can define the percentage of each horse they own and split the costs and prize money according to their share.
Syndicates allow people to become involved in ownership without becoming a registered owner. A syndicate should be managed by a syndicator/s and only they will need to be registered as an owner/s.
Further information regarding ownership can be found on the British Horseracing Authority website https://www.britishhorseracing.com/regulation/ownership/become-an-owner/
“It’s a real pleasure being part of Luca’s yard. I have been with him for a number of years and knowing what I do about him and how he trains horses, I have full confidence that when my horses go to the track they are given the best possible chance of success.”
Phil Booth – Owner
“Luca trained Mephisto to perfection for us for the Ebor in 2004. The horse had problems but through patience and masterful handling it all came good on the day giving us the thrill of a lifetime.”
Paul Silver – Owner
